Training the Next Generation of Installers on Concealed Cisterns
The Fluidmaster UK team recently spent two days at...
On Saturday 6th June, eight members of the Fluidmaster team (Kev, Cindy, Matt, Geoff, Deb, Mariya, Michelle and Alexandra) laced up their boots and took on Cancer Research UK’s Big Hike, a half marathon through the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park.
The route wound along the Taff Trail, through forests and alongside beautiful canals, 13+ miles of proper Welsh countryside. The weather had other ideas on the day, making for some memorably slip-and-slide moments underfoot, but that did nothing to dampen the team’s spirits. If anything, it made the finish line feel even more well-earned.
And what a finish line it was — a well-deserved bowl of chilli con carne waiting at the end. Worth every muddy step.
Together, the team raised over £500 for Cancer Research UK, money that goes directly towards life-saving research. Fluidmaster is incredibly proud of every single person who walked, every person who donated, and everyone who cheered the team on from the sidelines.
Cancer affects all of us in some way. Taking part in something like this – getting out, pushing through, doing it together – felt like the right way to show up for the cause.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported the team. If you’d still like to contribute, click here: Fluidmaster Big Hike Team.
