Fluidmaster team goes the extra mile for St Michael’s Hospice

Six members of the Fluidmaster team stepped out in support of St Michael’s Hospice on Sunday 20th September, completing a challenging trek through the Wye Valley.

Geoff, Andy, James, Mark, Steve and Kev set off from Brockhampton Cricket Club to take on what was expected to be a 12-mile route. However, by the time they reached the finish near Goodrich Castle, the team had covered an impressive 14 miles.

The walk provided an opportunity for colleagues to enjoy the outdoors, take on a shared challenge and, most importantly, support the work of St Michael’s Hospice.

Based in Hereford, St Michael’s Hospice is an important local charity, providing care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Its work is made possible with the help of supporters, fundraisers and volunteers from across the local community.

Despite the route proving longer than anticipated, all six members of the Fluidmaster team rose to the challenge and completed the trek together.

The Wye Valley Trek forms part of St Michael’s Hospice’s programme of fundraising events and offers participants the chance to experience some of Herefordshire’s beautiful countryside while raising awareness and vital funds for the charity.
